From the Garden: Herb Cleansing Bundles

Clearing your environment by burning herbs

Smoke cleansing is an ancient practice found in many cultures and faiths. Early written records of smoke cleansing come from the ancient Hindu texts written in Sanskrit. In the ancient world herbs were burned to create sweet-smelling smoke in their temples, homes and in the presence of illness.

In New England local plant materials can be combined into a Smoke Cleansing Bundle.

Sage: Cleansing - Lavender: Calm - Rosemary: Clarity, memory, Cedar: Stress relief

This year we are very excited to be back live and in person at the Annisquam Village Hall, 36 Leonard Street, Annisquam, MA, with the 37th Annual Annisquam Arts & Craft Show.
With over 25 vendors- seven of them new to the show, and another eight Fine Artists juried in, we expect this to be the best show yet!

Artists and Crafters from across Cape Ann and beyond will be showing their wares in Annisquam on Saturday and Sunday, October 9 & 10, 2021, 10am to 5pm both days.

On Friday night before the show, the Village Hall will be the venue for the Show's Opening Gala.
Sponsors will be invited to join the artisans for an evening of mingling and early shopping, with wine, appetizers and an opportunity to bid on four lots in a Live Auction.
Bruce Tarr will be our Celebrity Auctioneer and will use his skills to put up for bid a painted oar by beloved artist/fisherman Sam Nigro, an oil on canvas painting by local artist David Arsenault, an Andean Design hat, handmade of Peruvian wool by Suzanne Brown and a Dinner for Eight- at your home, with a menu decided on by you and the chef, presented by local culinary artist- Tom Moriarty.

Monarch Butterfly Pillow

Each year we are seeing many more Monarch butterflies in our garden at the Annisquam Herb Farm. The milkweed is flourishing. Could this be a turnaround in the decline of the butterflies? We certainly hope so.

This 14" pillow honors the Monarch Butterfly
Pillow is a screen print on polyester with polyester filling.
